ABOUT DR. PATEL
Mayur V Patel, M.D., is a medical graduate of the University of London, London, England, in 1993. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and
Gynecology in 2001 at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut, which is affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel is board certified in OB/GYN.
Dr. Patel started his solo OB/GYN practice in 2010, initially in Lincroft, NJ and relocated to nearby Middletown, NJ. He is affiliated with Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ and Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Dr. Patel works personally, one on one with each of his patients so that he has a thorough understanding of their medical condition, at the same time providing continuity of care.
Prior to 2010, Dr. Patel worked for UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to clinical duties this involved teaching of residents and midwives.
Dr. Patel’s practice provides a wide range OB/GYN services including:
- Uncomplicated and high risk pregnancy and delivery
- Annual exams and pap smears
- Birth control and family planning
- Treatment of menstrual and menopause disorders
- Infertility
- Gynecological surgery
- Laparoscopic, Robotic and other minimally invasive surgery
